About The Artist

Dave Crosland is an artist and storyteller who has created work for comic books, cartoons, concert posters, video games, private collectors and art galleries.

Born and raised on the snowy tundra of Buffalo, NY, Dave was fascinated with art from an early age. And fortunately, this fascination was fueled by his parents’ constant encouragement and their shared interest in horror, sci-fi, action films, special FX, comics and cartoons.

Since graduating from The Columbus College of Art and Design in the year 2000, Dave has collaborated with a variety of clients, including Scholastic, Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Oni Press, iam8bit, Titmouse Inc, MAD Magazine, Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Sony, Microsoft and MTV. Some of his memorable projects include Invader ZIM, Halo: Collateral Damage, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja and the Kick-Ass video game for Playstation.

Currently, Dave is Character Design Supervisor on the critically-acclaimed animated series, Solar Opposites (Hulu/20th TVA).
He’s also in the process of writing & illustrating his first creator-owned graphic novel.

When he’s not conjuring creative magic, Dave can be found reading, meditating and generally frolicking among the forested hills of South Pasadena, CA.
